Jamie joined Sorrell in 2005 after serving as EVP and General Counsel of an international trust company in Bermuda, bringing with him 33 years of experience in the industry as a Lawyer and Trust and Estate Practitioner specializing in trust, estate, and tax planning, both domestically and internationally. Jamie earned his law degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the International Bar Association.
Jamie thrives on the constant challenging nature of his work, where every day brings something new to tackle. This work is always motivated by Sorrell's focus on clients, where delivering this unique and dedicated service is key to the firm's success.
When he's not at work, Jamie loves spending time with his family and getting outdoors for running and yard work. He really values the team spirit at Sorrell and enjoys the great relationships that he has built throughout his years here.
